Episode 7: Downloading YouTube Videos

Downloading videos from YouTube can be a huge benefit for teachers. YouTube can be a great resource for instructional material and source material for creating your own instructional videos. Many schools have YouTube content blocked on campus, so downloading videos at home to your computer will allow you access to content that you would not otherwise have access to at school.

In this tutorial we will look at three different ways for downloading video content from YouTube including one way to access YouTube videos from a school where YouTube is filtered. We will look at using browser plugins for Firefox, Chrome, or Safari, a download site called KeepVid.com and a file conversion website called Zamzar.com.
